2ND QUARTER of this year HIGHLIGHTS:

 

APRIL—we held another RETREAT, an Easter Recollection with the women at the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW). We showed “The Fourth Wise Man” , an older movie about a rich man who sold all that he had in order to find Jesus, which spoke to the hearts of those who attended the retreat! We were also able to “love our neighbor” (Mark 12:31) and share donated bread with underprivileged day care centers here in Barangay Sunvalley. (For more related photos, click here.)

 

MAY—MLhuillier once again sponsored a swimming day for the cancer-stricken children at the Phil. General Hospital (PGH) and their parents. (For more related photos, click here.)

 

JUNE—we prepared for the REACH Fun Run which was held July 11, but we’ve gone ahead & featured this event in this newsletter as it would be too late to bring you the news  in  September for the 3rd quarter overview. (For more related photos, click here.)
