Ongoing projects at the CIW and PGH 

Trip to Cebu  

The last week of January was the National Cancer Consciousness Week. One part of the program held at the PGH was a drawing contest with the theme of eating right. Brian (left) won first prize, and JR (right) also won a prize for their meaningful depiction of the theme.

In February we had the opportunity to join one of Rise Above Foundation's projects in Cebu. Gifts were given to an elementary school. We contributed rubber slippers for the project. 

Another livelihood program initiated by Rise Above Foundation for the mothers of the children who attend the foundation's daycare center, is bag making. The bags are made from used rice sacks. Project Manager Elizabeth shows the finished product.
